Frequently Asked Questions
1. "What exactly would I have this person do?" Is the answer something like, "OK, here are some URLs of my sites; send 'em traffic!" Or do I need to be more specific? Your Traffic Assistant, whether full-time or part-time, will be trained in all of the most effective methods in driving traffic to a website. With guidance from you, the client, your Traffic Assistant will execute to your specifications. If there are specific tasks that you want done, and in order of importance, your Traffic Assistant will work according to your needs. This does not, however, mean they will be doing things such as website development, brainstorming, html work, or things that require them to think instead of you. Currently, the TA's are trained to do all of those mundane tasks that drive us crazy and steal our time. It is in the works, however, to come out with groups of more specialized assistants that can do things like design web pages, create and edit html, etc. 2. I know that Richard has a strong background in lead-gen traffic. So if someone says to their TA, "These are Lead Gen sites," will the TA get the guidance needed to maximize traffic for them? Traffic is traffic, but ... you want different traffic for lead gen stuff than you want for a typical product sales page, right? Are the TAs going to understand the difference? Or will their supervisors? Our Traffic Assistants will understand the difference of all site traffic, but it will still be your responsibility to outline the TA's responsibilities just as you would outline an employees responsibilities sitting in your office. In the US, there are speciality training schools...where one might hire a secretary with specific skills, etc. This is a very similar. Your Traffic Assistant will not have to be explained what "viral marketing" or "social bookmarking" or "article submissions" are...as they will have gone through very complete training. 3. Do you envision all of this traffic as "free" traffic? I didn't see AdWords, for instance, listed as an area where these guys are being trained. Obviously, if there are expenses involved, the client will have to absorb them. But I didn't see any discussion of that in the sales page. So I'm wondering if what you have in mind is just 100% free traffic? As most of you know, we are the developers of Keyword Companion. We have an affinity to PPC. However, all paid advertising is extremely valuable and your Traffic Assistant will be trained in all of these methods. All costs will be born by you, the client, then your Traffic Assistant will execute. 4. Will these guys write articles? Your Traffic Assistant is not trained in copywriting or any type of writing for that matter. We will have other services in subsequent months, but as far as your Traffic Assistant, they will not be hired or trained in that skill set. However, if you need them to seek out content, or Public Domain works that you want to subsequently have spun, (assuming that it meets all legal requirements) that is definitely something that a Traffic Assistant can do. 5. Do we have direct access to this assistant via email, phone, etc. - please elaborate. You will have a web interface that has been specifically designed for the Traffic Assistant Program. In this interface, you will assign tasks, follow progress and give feedback. You will also have chat capabilities. You will have direct phone access to their Manager, although we would ask that you try to use the chat or web capabilities first as this could become cumbersome for the staff with multiple phone calls coming in. 6. What about the issue of confidentiality - how are we assured that our business is not compromised. We have taken specific cautionary steps to monitor the Traffic Assistants work and to limit the sites that they can go to. This in and of itself will prevent any of your sensitive business issues being "passed along." Next, we have implemented a monitored work station system that makes things very difficult if not impossible for any of our Traffic Assistants to cause any type of a security breach. 7. Can we use an assistant to do other work besides traffic (e.g. assisting with answering our Support Desk, etc). Please provide details. If you find that this is a better use of your Traffic Assistants time, that is fine with us, just be advised that they are not trained on Support Desk Software and that would then become your responsibility; conversely, they are trained in all traffic methods and would not require any training on your part. 8. What if we do not get on with a particular assistant - can you supply another one? If for some reason you are not getting along with a particular Traffic Assistant, we will review the situation carefully, as it is in our best interest to maintain a staff of helpful, insightful and motivated individuals. If we can not remedy the situation with your assigned Traffic Assistant, we will indeed assign you a new Traffic Assistant. 9. Do we get one person as an assistant or do you allocate our requirements to various assistants. It would be a major advantage to have just the same one person (for as long as they are with you). You will be assigned 1 person for all of your tasks. That 1 Traffic Assistant will also have a manager that will be reviewing the Traffic Assistants work on a daily basis to ensure quality, timeliness, efficiency and effectiveness. 10. How do I track the hours my assistant puts in on my project? You will have a daily time sheet uploaded into your members area that you will have for review and monitoring purposes as well as for our managers review. 11. What exactly are you training them for so I can get an idea? Every form of Traffic Generation that you can imagine. From setting up a mini-network to submitting an article. From putting together your PPC campaign to the latest Web 2.0 traffic tactics. If you can think of a traffic generation method, they will have training on this method. 12. Will they have support within their infrastructure to multi-task on various internet marketing activities? If you have a need to get more things done during the same time frame, we have an overflow staff for exactly these reasons alone. The hours used by the overflow staff will count against the hours that your Traffic Assistant will provide that month. 13. There are a lot of activities within each task. For example, run PPC campaigns. Do the traffic assistants handle EVERY activity in the task or just certain ones? Your Traffic Assistant will have the training to do the task from the beginning to the end. It will be clearly your decision on how you use your Traffic Assistant's time. If you want to have the TA perform the task from beginning to end, that is something that you can do. 14. Is the TA trained to help me come up with the best on-line marketing strategy for me and my clients? As well as implement the strategy. Your Traffic Assistant is a doer. This is a person that will execute a plan for getting the most amount of traffic to your site. However, you can certainly ask them questions. I would not rely on the Traffic Assistants to provide your strategy. If you have those needs, we have other services as well as monthly training calls that will assist you in this area. 15. Can I hire them on a part-time/full-time basis to work on multiple traffic building projects at any one time? You can have your Traffic Assistant work on as many projects as you would like. Just be pragmatic; if they are working on one project, they can not be working on something else at the exact same time. 16. What business hours will the TA keep? Traffic Assistants will be working a standard Indian schedule, working from 9am - 6pm (GMT + 5.5 hours). However, your website interface allows for constant interaction. There will also be a night-shift that will work from 7:30pm - 4:30am (GMT + 5.5) so that we have a staff on hand to address important client needs. 17. What methods will the TA's be using? Black/ White / Grey Hat? Link Exchange? Article Submission? The Traffic Assistant will be trained in "ALL" traffic strategies and tactics. It is then at your discretion to instruct your Traffic Assistant what you want them to implement. 18. How many hours a week do they spend? Your Traffic Assistant will spend 60 hours per month for a part-time agreement and 160 hours per month for a full-time agreement. You can allocate those hours how you see fit depending on your needs during each week. 19. How many clients are they handling? Our Full-Time clients will have the sole use of 1 Traffic Assistance exclusive to them. Our Part-Time clients will share a Traffic Assistant with 2 other clients. 20. How does this work? Do the fees start immediately? If so, what's the difference between hiring an assistant now and reserving one? During the initial roll out of the program, we are allowing people to reserve a Traffic Assistant. This is the only time in which a "reservation process" will take place. Fees do start immediately. 21. If I start with a part time assistant, how easy is it to expand to a full time assistant and would I receive the preferred rate having started with one of the original 50 assistants? If you want to upgrade to a full-time assistant it will be based on availability and on a first-come, first-served basis. You will have the same rate as a Charter Client of the service. You will always and forever be identified as a Charter Client, and will most likely reap many benefits from that status. 22. How much time will I need to commit to deal with the Traffic Assistant? The amount of time that you personally have to be involved could be extremely limited. By simply posting your desired requests on your website interface the Traffic Assistant will have all they need as instruction from you. 23. What if I just do affiliate marketing and don't have a website of my own, can I still use a Traffic Assistant to work on building traffic for me? Definitely. Your Traffic Assistant is trained in traffic generation regardless of the style of marketing you employ. Just work with your TA to outline a plan that works for your needs. 24. I am new to marketing as a whole, but want to get going in my business on the right foot. I don't know many things about how to drive traffic so how will having a Traffic Assistant best work for my current needs? Your Traffic Assistant is trained, but you will need to give them some level of guidence. One point to mention here is that we will be conducting group calls with all of our TA clients. These calls will outline great ways to use your TA's to the best of your ability and to get the most from their performance as it pertains to your particular circumstances and goals. 25. What sort of assurance will I have regarding the measurable increase of traffic my site(s) should (must?) receive? Example: 15% increase in visitors per month to site A; 10% to site B. You will have the assurance that your TA will work diligently on your Traffic promotion according to the plan you give them. You will definitely know your metrics, so you can identify if you are using your TA in the best way possible. For example, different sites respond to different types of traffic...where one market responds fantastically to PPC, others best respond to Web 2.0 tactics. This is where you will want to identify your markets, maintain your metrics...and measure accordingly. 26. Is there a mechanism in place where the managers of each team of TA's reviews their assignments and evaluates whether what they are doing is the best thing to be doing in order to achieve the client's goals as quickly as possible? Or, are the clients completely on their own in this regard (i.e. without having to enroll in a coaching program)? Yes, you will receive a report 2 times per month from the TA Manager that will give you feedback of what the TA is doing and how you might be able to utilize them better. Bear in mind, this is your employee while they are working for you. You can use them as you please, but we will do everything we can to show you and teach you on implementing "good practices" that work for the relationship between you and your assistant. |
